Jacklyn attends her weekly staff training. This week the training is about communication; knowing how to hold a conversation without letting it lag or become awkward. Jacklyn's job was to keep her conversation with a random couple ( played by two other co-workers) on a high, using dog show as their topic.

Jacklyn: Hello, how are you guys today?

Couple: Good

Jacklyn: What do you guys do a living?

Couple, husband: I'm a doctor but my wife here is a raises and trains dogs.

(Jacklyn turns to face the wife, intrigued)

Jacklyn: Interesting! That's completely different from what your husband does. What got you into dog training?

(Wife smiles a bit as she answers the question)

Couple, wife: I've just always loved animals, especially dogs.

Jacklyn: Why especially dogs?

Wife: Their intelligence and ability to adapt through training.

Jacklyn: Cool! Have you ever entered your dogs in dog shows?

(Wife nobs "yes" and smiles)

Husband: Ya, she actually had a dog show last weekend and won.

(Jacklyn's face lights up with surprise)

Jacklyn: Wow! So what place did the dog get?

And Scene.
